What turned into a need for a creative outlet when my kids were little has turned into a lifelong passion. I absolutely love connecting with and photographing people. It is such a privilege for me to document the special moments in your lives. I will do everything I can to make you comfortable, and I’m good at taking on crazy. I love to look for beautiful light and locations and put my heart into making your session a great experience for you.

MY STYLE

Timeless. Warm. Genuine.

The kinds of images that I want to hang on the walls of my home of my own family, are the kinds of portraits that I strive to create for you.  Beautiful light and genuine connections make me jump up and down on the inside.  My work has been described as timeless, warm, and genuine . I love it when people who have been in front of my camera tell me that it's comfortable and fun.  My goal is to give you an environment where you can be truly yourselves and in the images, see your value and the blessing of those you love the most. I know that there are a lot of great photographers out there, and I greatly appreciate being given the opportunity to capture you.

PRICING

My session fees are all-inclusive and cover our time together and a full gallery of the best images.  You don’t have to choose which ones you want….you get them all!  Then you can print to your heart’s content.

Portrait Sessions I $600 (including sales tax)

• Portrait sessions are for seniors, families, or siblings.

• An outdoor shoot of up to six people within 20 miles of my home in Auburn, WA. (Beyond that, extra fees will apply).

• A gallery of approximately 80 high-resolution images within three weeks of your session delivered by digital download for you to print and make your own photo gifts.

• I welcome extended families. There is an extra fee for over six people. Contact me for details.

Senior Four Season Package

• Many seniors do a portrait session or a mini session. However, this option is pretty special….four seasons of sessions for a very special year. Summer, Fall, Winter, Spring, Fall. Contact me for more details!

• Please contact me to be on my interest list for 2024-2025 seniors. I’ll be sending out information in June 2024.

One Person Mini Session I $225 (including sales tax)

• A 15-20 minute shoot for one person (child updates, headshots for business or websites, etc) and  8 high-resolution images delivered by digital download.

• These are done locally in Auburn.

Mini Sessions l $325 (including sales tax)

• Each season I plan dates in certain locations with back-to-back time slots for families and seniors.

• These sessions are 20 minutes and include 15 images.

• Contact me to be on my list when I open dates each season.

Newborn Sessions l $650 (including sales tax)

• These sessions are done in your home and focus on baby and family images.

• A gallery of approximately 60-70 high-resolution images within three weeks of your session delivered by digital download for you to print and make your own photo gifts.

Maternity/Newborn Sessions l $1100 (including tax)

• Outdoor maternity session 60-70 images.

• Newborn session with 60-70 images.

Headshots/Group Shots I Contact me for group pricing for athletes and teams or staff.

Weddings

• I accept a couple of wedding bookings per year. If you like my style, give me a shout and we can discuss the details.

Gift certificates are available for classes and for sessions.

CLOTHING

No need to stress!  My biggest advice is to wear what you like and feel good in. Happy people are way more important than everyone’s clothes.  I love color and texture and patterns. Rather than feeling like you need to perfectly match everyone (unless it really floats your boat!), think instead of choosing several colors and then having everyone wear varying clothes that work together and start by “shopping” in your own closet for pieces that you already love.  The only thing I advise you to stay away from are logos which can get distracting.  

LOCATIONS

Newborn sessions are shot in the comfort of your home.   Other sessions can be shot in home or at an outdoor location.  We live in such a great area of the world.  I have lots of ideas of creative places to shoot and if you have a spot in mind, we can do that too.  We can do urban streets, warehouses, bridges, fields, parks, a river, a marina, a beach, the waterfront.  I have lots of experience finding the best light in a variety of locations.  You also have the option of going to a mountain location for an extra fee. Ask me for details.

TIMELINE

• You contact me and I’ll be delighted to hear from you.  

• We’ll set a date and confirm it a couple of days before. I'm always watching the weather in the PNW!

• We’ll get together and have a good time as I photograph you.

• I’ll post a peek within a day or so (because it’s fun to have a peek)!

• You’ll get an email within three weeks with your digital download link as well as printing recommendations.

• We’ll both live happily ever after.
