It's adoption day tomorrow for little Leo. Our dear friends have been caring for him since he was just a few weeks old. I remember Eric and Denise coming by the house when he was just about four pounds in a special little carseat for teeny ones.
He's been loved and cuddled and in the happy, noisy mix of their family. He's thriving and is a very happy and affectionate boy.
Tomorrow his family is going to court to pledge to care for this little boy as their own forever. I'm going to be there with my camera, wiping away tears, I'm sure, and feeling very glad to witness beautiful redemption.
This little bub has no idea how blessed his life will be with this family that God put him in. He's just very comfortable and very loved.
The other day when they were at our house for a SLEEPOVER, Kiana popped him on her lap and started reading this book.
I'll love you forever, I'll like you for always
As long as I'm living my baby you'll be.
Psalm 68:6 God sets the solitary in families
Happy adoption day,Eric, Denise, Kiana, Korban, Malakai....and LEO!
