Nothing inspired me to photography like having my own children. I didn't just want crummy snapshots of red eyes, cheesy expressions, and fuzzy faces.
I want the real deal. Beautiful images of my beautiful kids.
I read. I practiced. I made tons and tons of mistakes. And I learned a few things.
I am going to be sharing some of these principles at my MOPS (Mothers of Preschoolers) group in Federal Way on Wednesday, March 23 at 9:30-11:45. I will be going through some basics that will instantly take your photographs up a few notches if applied, no matter what camera you have. I will show you examples and point you in the right direction if you need to go further and need more resources. I also have blocked out a MINI SESSION SLOT ON APRIL 30th and will be drawing for a winner from the ladies present that day, as well as handing out a few other prizes. ....because prizes are FUN!
This day is open for all moms of preschoolers, birth through kindergarten. If you are interested in coming, please let me know so I can give numbers to the leaders, and I can give you more details. The only other thing to note is that unfortunately, we will not be able to keep your child in childcare that morning if you are not a regular Wednesday morning attender at our church, due to staffing and the ratios they keep to care for our children well. Babies under six months can be in the meeting but if you have older children, you will need to find some other childcare arrangements that morning. Thanks for your understanding :) .
Also, I am considering doing a week by week teaching of some of the basics here on my blog if there is interest. I have some questions from friends so if you are interested....or if you have any questions you'd like to add to my list, leave a comment.
Hope to see you there!
